Men's Club Spring Meeting - 2010

2010 FOX PRAIRIE MEN’S CLUB MINUTES - Spring Meeting

Meeting was held March 4th, 2010 at the Noblesville Elks Club. Below are the highlights.
 
Tom Oaks was elected to a two year term as President
Jim Supan was elected to a two year term as Secretary/Treasurer
Thanks were given to Warren Sears for all his past services to the Men's Club.
 
Men's Club balance ended last year at $797.98.
The Billy Elder Scholarship will remain at $1,000 in 2010
Also we will again donate $500 to the Bryce Mitchel Tournament Fund this year.
 
There was a group discussion on whether the membership dues should include paid tournaments
or "pay as you go" for the tournaments or a combination of both.
Vote was taken and will keep the dues at $175 which will include 10 paid tournament as in the past.
 
Glenn Shrock's committee on revising the by-laws is proceeding on schedule and should have them
ready for distribution early this season.
 
Jim Supan will schedule a meeting in the next 30 days with the Tournament committee to discuss the following:
revise the eligibility for the Dillon and Tubby McDonald sweepstakes tournaments
set deadlines for the four ball tournament similar to the Club championship
re-instate the Horse Race
etc.
 
Changes to the Club Championship schedule was told. No longer will the first match be mandatory on Sat  Aug 14th
Once the flights are made you can schedule your match any time but must be completed by Sat. Aug 14th .

Reminder- $175 Men's Club dues must be paid by Sat April 17th.
