Tournament Committee
- Moved most Saturday events to Sunday
- Attendance has been very low for all Saturday events.
- Only Saturday tournament left is The Quota.
- Moved time to 1:00 p.m. to see if it helps participation.
- Moved the 2-man 9 hole event/Dillon auction to Thursday
- Our bank is not open on Saturdays. Cannot get cash for payouts.
Change the requirements for the Dillon and the Tubby McDonald sweepstakes to the following for new members:
- For the Dillon, participants must play in 2 tournaments and post 5 rounds at Fox Prairie.
- For the Tubby McDonald, participants must play in 3 tournaments and post 7 rounds at Fox Prairie.
Pay as you go membership has been increased to $100.
- We will take the additional $25 and put it in the tournament winnings fund.
- Because of the computer system change in the clubhouse, all entry fees for Pay As You Go must be made in Cash.
Other Updates:
- We will have a separate pot for closest to the pin. $5.00 pot split between 2 par 3’s (one on each side). Will be part of skins, net game pots.
- Must update plaques in clubhouse. Rich H. will take up the task of getting this updated.
- Gary and Rich will work together with the parks department to come up with a plan for signs posted at the golf course advertising the Men’s Club.
- We will play the ABCD Stableford tournament on May 20th from the Hybrid Tees. This is a test tournament to see how it goes.
Tournament winnings can now be applied to anything at Fox Prairie (greens fees, carts, food, pro-shop, etc) - 4 ball tournament team handicap minimum will be reduced from 18 to 14. We will have a strict deadline for each round. If you have not completed your match yet, you will be given a 1:00 tee time on that Sunday (last day of deadline). If you do not show up, your team will forfeit.
