A tournament committee meeting was held Mar 18th.Present was Chip Dye, Alan Hinds, Glenn Shrock, Tom Oaks and Jim Supan.
The following are the results
1. The HDCP eligibility for the Dillon and Sweepstakes Tournaments was raised from 18 to 22 strokes.15% of club members are
over 18 strokes.Hopefully this will increase participation.
2. Horse race tournament was re-instated. It will be on Fri Jun 18th at 5:30 ($10 fee). Men's Club will supply burgers and beer.
3. Deadlines were set for the Four ball Tournament
First round must be completed by 2:00pm on Jun 30th
Second round must be completed by 2:00pm on Jul 31st
Third round must be completed by 2:00 pm on Aug 31
Forth round must be completed by 2:pm on Sept 30th
If enough players to have a Fifth round,it must be completed by 2:00pm on Oct 17th
Teams will forfeit if unable to hit the deadlines.
4 The tournament on Jun 19th will be replaced by a new tournament "ABCD Grinder"
This is a ABCD tournament
Like HDCP members will play together
Each player will record a net full HDCP score for 18 holes
They will be posted with the balance of the ABCD team members
Best three total scores of the 4 man team will be added together to determine the winner.
(there will be a 10 shot limited per hole to avoid a player staying all day on one hole)
5 The tournament committee will try to review tournament parings before they are set.
They will try to limit the number of times players are on the same team.
This is always not possible because of the late/early tee time requests and limited amount of players.
